virtual guitars are pretty rad, i use the odin by solemn tones and reallpc by musiclab and they do the job well, of course, the issue with making them sound 'real' is something to think about, but i think that's what makes them better overall. my guitar broke recently and a lot of the music i released recently was supposed to include them, but because my guitar broke i had to map everything out using virtual guitars exclusively and it's worked pretty well. they're wonderful for laying out ideas.
